Business Email

Landingsite does not provide business email hosting. The platform focuses on website building and hosting, so email accounts (like name@yourdomain.com) are not included with your subscription.

That also means there is no separate Landingsite webmail inbox, mailbox login, or email control panel for your domain. To send, receive, or forward email at your domain, you need an external email provider.

Important: Landingsite does not include bundled free Zoho mailboxes (or any other built-in business email inboxes) just because you connected a custom domain or upgraded your website plan.

To use a professional email address with your domain, you will need an external email provider. Here are some popular options:

  • Google Workspace — Full suite with Gmail, Calendar, and Drive
  • Microsoft 365 — Outlook email with Office apps
  • Zoho Mail — External email provider you can choose separately
  • ImprovMX — Free email forwarding (forwards emails to your existing inbox)

Common Setup: Show hello@yourdomain.com on Your Site

Section titled “Common Setup: Show hello@yourdomain.com on Your Site”

A common setup is to show an address like hello@yourdomain.com on your website while delivering mail somewhere else behind the scenes.

You can do that in two common ways with an external provider:

  • Mailbox: Create a real inbox such as hello@yourdomain.com with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho, or another provider.
  • Alias or forwarding address: Create hello@yourdomain.com as an alias or forwarder that sends messages to an existing inbox like Gmail.

Landingsite’s role is only to host the website and, when your domain uses Landingsite nameservers, let you add the DNS records your email provider requires. The actual inbox, alias, forwarding, and sending behavior is handled by your email provider.

Most email providers will require you to add DNS records (like MX, TXT, or CNAME records) to your domain.

Common examples include:

  • MX records for where incoming mail should be delivered
  • SPF TXT records for authorized senders
  • DKIM records for message signing
  • DMARC TXT records for deliverability and policy

If Your Domain Uses Landingsite Nameservers

Section titled “If Your Domain Uses Landingsite Nameservers”

You do not need to move your domain to Cloudflare just to set up business email or email forwarding.

If your domain already uses Landingsite nameservers, you can:

  1. Ask the AI editor to add the required records for you.
  2. Add them manually from your domain settings page in the Landingsite dashboard.

Landingsite can keep hosting the website while a third-party provider like Google Workspace, Hostalia, Microsoft 365, or Zoho handles the mailbox. In most cases, adding the provider’s mail records will not break the website as long as you leave the website’s existing @ and www records alone.

When Landingsite asks for the host or name of a DNS record, enter only the host label:

  • use @ for the root domain
  • use just the subdomain label like google._domainkey, imap, or smtp
  • do not paste the full domain name into the host field unless the provider explicitly tells you to

For example, if your provider gives you a record for google._domainkey.yourdomain.com, the host field in Landingsite should usually be just google._domainkey.

If you paste the full domain into the host field, Landingsite may append your domain again and create the wrong DNS record.

If your domain is still using nameservers from Cloudflare, Namecheap, GoDaddy, Strato, or another DNS provider, Landingsite cannot manage those DNS records for you. In that case, add the MX, TXT, or CNAME records in the dashboard of whatever service is currently hosting your DNS.

If you want that external provider to keep managing your email DNS while the website still stays on Landingsite, connect the website using Landingsite’s external DNS method instead of Landingsite nameservers. That means keeping your DNS where it is and pointing only these website records to Landingsite:

  • A record for @ → 75.2.29.147
  • A record for @ → 166.117.246.71
  • CNAME record for www → proxy-ssl.getlandingsite.com

Refer to your email provider’s setup guide for the specific mail records you need to add, and see Connecting a Domain for the full website connection flow.

If you want contact form submissions to go to your new address, set that address as the destination in your website settings after the mailbox or forwarding setup is working.
