Custom Scripts

Landingsite supports custom code injection — JavaScript, tracking pixels, analytics tools, and other third-party scripts.

Tell the AI what you want to add and where, and it places the code for you. Paste the script or embed snippet into the chat along with your instruction. For example:

  • add this Google Analytics script to the head of every page
  • add this chat widget script near the end of the body on every page
  • embed this Calendly code in the contact section

This is also the right approach when you already have a working embed snippet and want it in a specific section of the page.

Important: Landingsite can add your script to the head, but it does not currently offer a control to force your script to load before Landingsite’s own built-in head scripts. If a third-party tool requires being the literal first script tag in the head, that exact ordering is not currently configurable.

Landingsite does not currently offer a public API for external applications to read, update, or publish website content.

That means there is not currently a supported way to:

  • sync website text, menus, pricing, hours, or images from your own app into Landingsite through an API
  • trigger website publishing from another platform
  • request public API credentials or public API documentation

If you still need to connect another tool to your website, the supported path is usually to use:

  • embed code from the third-party service
  • custom scripts added through the AI chat
  • external links or buttons that send visitors to the outside system

Landingsite works best as the website layer around those tools rather than as an API-managed CMS.

Paste your Google Analytics tag into the chat and ask the AI to add it to the head of every page. The tracking code is injected across all pages of your website.

React websites have their own built-in analytics panel in the editor, but it reports Landingsite’s own statistics — it will never show whether Google Analytics is receiving data. Legacy HTML sites have no built-in analytics at all.

To confirm Google Analytics specifically is working:

  1. Open your property in Google Analytics.
  2. Go to Realtime.
  3. Visit your live website in another tab.
  4. Check whether your visit appears in Realtime.

If you already added your Google Analytics snippet in Landingsite, checking inside Google Analytics is the normal way to verify the integration.

Important: if you or the AI created a custom /admin, analytics, dashboard, or reporting page on your website, that page is not connected to any real data unless you built an integration for it. AI-generated dashboard pages can look convincing while being static content. Landingsite’s real statistics live in the analytics panel in the editor, not on a page of your website.

Landingsite supports Google AdSense via custom scripts.

  1. Make sure your website is on a paid plan if you want to use your own custom domain.
  2. Complete AdSense approval with Google.
  3. Copy the AdSense script Google gives you.
  4. Paste that script into the AI chat and ask the AI to add it to your site’s head.

Landingsite can place the script on your site, but AdSense approval and policy compliance are still handled by Google.

Landingsite does not include a built-in cookie consent tool, but you can add one via custom code injection. Popular options include:

Paste the consent tool’s script into the chat and ask the AI to add it, along with any required body tags.

If the AI creates only the visible banner design, that does not by itself create a working consent system. For real consent handling, use an actual third-party consent script.

Paste the embed or script into the AI chat and tell the AI where it should appear on the page.

Important: a normal page URL usually will not embed by itself. Most providers require a real embed snippet, iframe code, or JavaScript widget code. If the provider blocks iframe embedding on their side, the embed still will not load even if the code is added correctly.

If all you have is a regular link, the practical fallback is to add a button that sends visitors to that external page instead of trying to embed it inline.

If a third-party form or widget loads as an empty area on the live page:

  1. Re-open the page in the editor and confirm the AI has the full embed snippet, not just the provider URL.
  2. If the provider gave you both an iframe and a script, include both pieces again and ask the AI to place them exactly as written.
  3. Publish the website again after re-adding the embed.
  4. Check the live page in a private/incognito window before assuming the embed is still broken.

If the live page is still blank after that, the provider may be blocking that embed type or the page may still be missing part of the snippet.

Calendly works well on Landingsite pages.

  1. Copy your Calendly embed code.
  2. Paste it into the AI chat and ask the AI to place it where you want on the page.
  3. If Calendly gives you a head script snippet instead, ask the AI to add it to the head.

If you are not sure which Calendly snippet you have, check Calendly’s instructions first.

Calculators, Estimators, Quizzes, and Other Custom Logic

Section titled “Calculators, Estimators, Quizzes, and Other Custom Logic”

Landingsite can host the website around a calculator-style tool, but it does not currently include a built-in no-code builder for complex scoring, calculation, or branching logic.

If you need something like a quote calculator, loan calculator, price estimator, personality quiz, scored assessment, or other interactive logic tool, the practical options are:

  • use a third-party widget or embed that already handles the logic, or
  • add custom JavaScript for the tool and place it on the page with the AI

If you are not a developer, the easiest route is usually to choose a no-code calculator or form service first, then paste its working embed snippet into the AI chat and ask Landingsite to place it on the page.

For multi-question quizzes that assign a result, score, or profile automatically, a dedicated external tool is usually the better fit than Landingsite’s built-in form. Services like Typeform, Jotform, or Tally are common choices as long as they support the logic you need and provide an embeddable snippet.

Landingsite works well as the front-end website for booking-based businesses, but it does not include built-in backend logic for things like:

  • preventing double-bookings
  • live inventory availability
  • rental calendars
  • date-based checkout rules

If you need that kind of functionality, use a dedicated third-party booking or rental platform, then embed its widget on the page or link out to it from a button.

A simple contact form can still work for basic inquiries, but for real scheduling or inventory control, use a dedicated external booking tool.

React websites include built-in analytics — visitors, visits, pageviews, traffic sources, top pages, locations and devices — with nothing to install and no cookie banner required. Start there before adding anything.

You may still want a third-party tool alongside it, and you can add one with custom code injection. Google Analytics is the most common choice, but any service that works from a JavaScript snippet will work. Reach for one when you need something the built-in panel does not do, such as e-commerce funnels, cross-site attribution, or joining traffic data to an ad platform.
